Hunter College is a medium-sized university and part of the City University of New York (CUNY) system. It is located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. It offers a wide range of degrees and has produced many Fulbright scholars. It offers an Honors College and Honors Programs. Among its many notable alumni is Rosalyn Yalow and Gertrude Elion, both Nobel Laureates in medicine.

Summer Programs at Hunter College

STARTALK Honors Chinese is a FREE full day Monday through Thursday program with classrooms sessions followed by an online session. No prior Chinese experience is necessary. Students may continue with a post-summer session to be eligible for college credit.

Summer Enrichment for the Gifted is for grades 1–7. Enrichment in writing, the arts and science is offered Monday through Thursday from 9 AM to 2:30 PM. Participants must be recommended by their teachers.
